Prizes announced for tournament winning team of Hong Kong Sixes. PCB new Chairman Zaka Ashraf said that announced 2,2lakhs rupees for each member of team. Ceremony which is held in National cricket academy Lahore Captain Abdur-Razzaq including all players cash prizes are announced of 2,2lakhs respectively. Employee's protests against privatization of WAPDA. The employees of Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) protested against the proposed privatization of power distribution companies (Discos), Geo News reported Tuesday. The IESCO officials along with the engineers and labour union gathered outside the head office and protested against the privatization of WAPDA. The labour union told that the protest is taking place in the entire IESCO region and all the employees except the emergency staff are taking part in the demonstrations. The protestors demanded the government that loadshedding should be ended and power rates should be decreased. While protesting in Lahore, the protestors blocked the Mall Road. Labor Union chief Rasheed Ahmed Khan said that privatization would not solve the problem as power is already expensive and short. Union leaders said that the entire country would face black out if the decision to privatize WAPDA is not revoked.

Chief Justice said that cabinet can't give acceptance of non-legal work. Supreme Court heard cases of rental power project today, during this court bench head Chief Justice gave remarks that if cabinet gave acceptance for any illegal work then it can never become a legal work. Under leadership of Chief justice SC bench heard the rental power project case in which lawyer Shahid of Walters power gave his statements, he said that in Naudera1& 2, acceptance gave by cabinet. He in his remarks said that presently NEPRA rules are violated, which projects are made with out advertisement, they can't be made clear. If there is no clearance in those projects then this rental power projects can be declared void.

Snowfall is likely to occur in KPK. In next 24 hours weather will remain dry in Peshawar. In upper areas of KPK province rain, on mountains snowfall likely to occur. According to department of meteorologists in previous 24 hours 10milimeter in Para Chinar, 6milimeter Chitral, 24 millimeter Kalam and 7milimeter in Darwish rain recorded. According to meteorologists minimum temperature recorded is 15 degree centigrade. Humidity in air was 89%.

Gillani said that comprehensive strategy should be adopted against extremists. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani said that in war against extremists & terrorist's mutual operation should continue by America, Pakistan & Afghanistan. In an interview he said that he needs cooperation and against terrorists they will have to made comprehensive policy. Gillani said that America already shown us "Construction zones" opportunities. These zones in Pakistan & Afghanistan will establish and raise standard of people living style. We hope that these zones will soon establish. Pension payment continues to retired employees of different departments in country. In many cities pensioners reached bank for getting pension. Pension became big problem after a long time for the pensioners who worked a lot and provide services to their country. Previous month former railways employees for getting their right faced lot of difficulty. National Bank of Pakistan executive vice president in previous week said that railway accounts has so many funds that before Eid all pensioners will be paid their pensions. Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Rawalpindi and Multan including all cities banks special counters were made for them.

Abdul Rahim-al-Khatib appointed new Prime Minister of Libya. National Interim Council of Libya appointed Abdul Rahim-al-Khatib as new prime minister of Libya. He said that security of human rights included in his top priority. For the appointment of Prime Minister interim council member voted in Tarabeless, maximum members voted in his favor. It is said about him that he is the famous leader of interim council. He will nominate his cabinet and for assembly elections will be there, which will prepare new ordinance for country. Newly appointed Abdul Rahim-al-Khatib said that for development in country stability is needed. He said that their revolutionary brothers also agree on a point that they also thought country's national security and stability important.
